Abnormal lesions in the head and neck may be common or have rare occurrences. It is a significant challenge for otorhinolaryngologists to diagnose these conditions for the betterment of the patients. The presence of these lesions is a frequent reason for patients to seek otolaryngologist advice. Sometimes these lesions may gradually progress or rapidly threaten the patient’s life. They can be infectious, benign or malignant, and a detailed history, investigations, and multidisciplinary approach involving the other specialities is paramount. Arriving at a quick diagnosis and treatment outcome with regular follow-up becomes important to benefit the patients.
